2. a) What changes in
youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your
country should make to promote a CoP?
Create an organization
for the establishment of an agency to deal with youth related issues
as it relates to CoP, this agency would have the responsibility for
ensuring that the 8 core areas of the CoP are carried out.
Make greater use of the educational institutions within the
country to promote CoP through already existing core subject areas
such as social studies, sociology etc
Through National Youth
Councils and other youth organization youth are encouraged to
promote the core of CoP
Promote through the Ministry of
Social Services the core areas of CoP
b) What CoP youth
activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do?
Create
an international youth network of young people who would be use to
spread the word through music, Dance, Drama etc. This core of
persons would travel around inspiring and empowering young
people.
Promoting youth exchanges and youth conferences
geared to the creation of greater awareness of CoP
Establish
regional sub offices the would promote the core areas of CoP in
individual countries
