2. a) What changes in youth policies do you

rights of a child, tolerance, understanding, etc
OPTIONAL
QUESTIONS
3. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations
for improving youth participation in CoP activities on any levels
(UN, government, civil society)?
Numbers representing small
island developing states at international meetings are usually small
and much more should be done to include a better representations
from these less developed countries.
4. What could be done to
improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the
CoP?
5. To ensure the best possible benefit of a UN Voluntary
Fund for youth and CoP, how should it be managed/administered?
I think it should be managed locally by the National Youth
Councils in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs but it
should also be administered among community based youth
organizations and groups especially among the rural communities
which tend to suffer from a digital and communication
divide.
6. How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities
be reached and motivated?
These youths can be reached by
targeting of schools and also community based groups in the
dissemination of the information. They can also be reached through
national youth networks that have actions that target neglected
youth in isolated communities.
7. a) Which other
organizations do you know of, that work for a CoP?
My
organization, although we haven't heard of CoP but we are organizing
an activity for World Peace Day on September 21st and we intend to
continue recognizing that day. I'm not sure if the National Youth
Council or the Youth Saving Youth group have been contacted but
these are youth associations/groups that would be willing to promote
the objectives of the CoP
b) Would you be willing to contact
them or may we contact them with the questionnaire? Please
specify.
Yes I would love to as this would fall into my role
with CIJEF (conseil international des organizations des jeunes de la
francophonie) which promotes peace, brotherhood and other ideologies
based on the francophone principles.

Dear friends,
I am resending this email
that was first sent on July 19, and I would very much appreciate
your immediate reply since we are now beginning to write the report
and would like Dominica's voice to be heard in it. Thank you!
