It is
agreed by those taking part in the Civil Society Report at the
midpoint of the Culture of Peace Decade that media coverage of
culture of peace initiatives has not been adequate and that we need
to increase it during the second half of the Decade.
How can
we know if we are successful?
One way is to keep track of
media stories on a central website.
That is what we are
trying to do with with the information board at http://decade-culture-of-peace.org/news/cgi-bin/ib4/ikonboard.cgi.
Please
look at it regularly and add media stories that we have not yet put
on the website. In this way we can see if we are making any
progress.
By the way, the text of the media story can be in
any language, although it will be helpful for the readers if you can
provide a translation into English, French or Spanish if the story
is in another language. |
