(can be quoted - see below)

1. a)
- Promotion of Peace Education curriculum at schools worldwide, specifically using the model of Life-Link Friendship-Schools Programme www.life-link.org.
- Arrange an international conference of  “school-networks” working for promotion of Health – Conflict Resolution – Environmental Care/Sustainability, in order to obtain optimal synergy between existing programmes. Such a conference should also discuss how youth/educators/schools can play an important role for confidence building and “common security”. Sigtuna boarding school in Sweden would be the perfect venue for such a conference 2008?

b)
- Official recognition from Ministries of Education, UNESCO, National Missions at the UN, Olympic movement, positive reactions from some of the most “prominent” international school-networks world-wide.

c)
- Expand the Life-Link Friendship-Schools Programme into regions of post-war situation and regions with weak democracy. The Life-Link programme outlines proposals for short-time youth and schools  “peace actions”.
- Life-Link would be more active in campaigning, based on official and recognized UN days, Life-Link proposed actions.
- Organize a conference as outlined above.

d)
The same as 1 b (above), and closer contact with UN/UNESCO decade campaigns such as Culture of Peace, Water decade, Education for Sustainability, Olympic Truce resolutions, Peace One Day, etc

- Upgrade the status for educators and teachers working with Peace Education programmes at their schools and within their communities!
- Promotion of Youth Immigration and integration programmes – Active programmes for each immigration family to have a host/supporting family for the first year at your new living in a new community. (“Fadder-familj”).
- Physical activity programmes at schools and within communities that promote self-esteem and social skills and learning to solve problems within a “constructive collaboration” frame (=Non violence). Also beneficial for a drug free culture.
- Invite sport and cultural stars as models for “fair play”. Soccer and FIFA as an important example

b)
- Promote official UN days at schools
- MUNGA programme promotion
- Sport and Peace / Olympic Truce promotion at schools and youth clubs worldwide.
- Continue to ensure high quality education in developing countries.
- Ensure a “sustainable” Internet system
