BASIC QUESTIONS 1. Individual and organisational activities a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would you like to do as an individual? List 3. I
would like to be able to travel to other cultures to gain greater
understanding of other religions and cultures. At the moment there is a
certain general ignorance of other peoples and other cultures
b) What non-financial support would you need to do these activities? Links
between clubs. I would like to be able to attend workshops and
seminars to facilitate cooperation and understanding as well as more
events aimed at increasing understanding such as football matches and
cinema showings.
c) If funds were available, what youth
activities related to a CoP would your organisation like to do? Set up
system to allow people to travel to other cultures Our aim is to
create a civilian peaceforce. We would be able to run training programs
and courses on diversity awareness, conflict resolution skills and
peacebuilding. We would also like to run a course to help people be
more culturally aware.
d) What non-financial support would your organisation need to do these activities? We
would like help to raise awareness, publicity and funds. We would

should be citizen participation and representation within the UN
(especially of youth) to see what the people want as well as to
increase transparency.
5. To ensure the best possible benefit of a UN Voluntary Fund for youth on the CoP, how should it be managed/administered? Adequate representation from all members of GA, not only politicians, but also a citizen base (teaches/doctors).
