Questionnaire

1.a) Revitalise the debate on peace and stability. The peace movement has become too dependent on government funding.

b) Education and awareness raising - combat ignorance and make peace by peaceful means.

2.a) Find concrete solutions for peace, based on the norms encompassed in the UN Charter. A debate on the current security climate based in reality is needed, e.g. the debate on nuclear weapons and non-proliferation issues - stop the hipocrisy and change the "normality" of having nuclear weapons - they are lethal regardless of who/what country is in possession of them.

b) Take the current crisis of the UN seriously and rediscover the basis of the norms that founded the organisation.

Optional questions

3. Encourage reflection, education and real solutions.

Transparency question - confront the media. Organisations are afraid of challenging and questioning the media, as they want positive coverage for their organisations. Find a balance of being critical and get the media to include more pro-peace news.

8. Personal opinion.
