Questionnaire
1.
a) As an individual I would like to do actions to promote respect for
all human rights, actions to ensure equality between women and men, and
also actions to foster democratic participation.
b) Very
important non-financial support that I need, and also young people in
generally, is to have much more possibilities to learn about Culture of
Pease issue – e.g. have chance to take part in activities such
international seminars, study session, etc.
c) Our
organization would like to do full range of actions to promote
democratic principles and practices with special emphasis on democratic
principles and practices at all level of informal and non-formal
education. We would like also realized projects that support
participatory communication and the free flow of information and
knowledge, e.g. promote mass communication that enables communities to
express their needs and participate in decision-making.
d)
Youth Council of Slovakia (and youth NGO´s organizations in
Slovakia in general) is faced nowadays with the lack of technical
equipment that we need for our institutional development. Very
important non-financial support, as I mentioned above, is also to have
much more possibilities to learn about Culture of Pease issue through
active participation in activities such international seminars, various
meetings with young peoples from other countries, etc.

a) Resolve and implement crucial documents connected to CoP issues, and
in cooperation with nongovernmental organizations become involved in
campaign that promote main ideas that are mentioned in
Declaration and Program of Action for a Culture of Peace
(Resolution A/53/243)
b) UN can played an active role in the
process of making pressure on national governments to make changes in
youth policies an in process of related and implement crucial documents
connected to CoP.
OPTIONAL QUESTIONS
3. Best way, how
to improving youth participation in CoP activities on any levels is to
realized broad information campaign among young people.
4. One
way is to create transparent web site, where will be published all
important information about CoP issue – e. g. important document,
activities, meetings and events and of course information about UN
youth fund for a culture of peace (CoP). This web can be also exploited
as an area for communication among young people – e.g. through some
discussion forum.
5. Best way how to managed/administered
fund for youth and CoP, is to delegate authority to regional (e.g.
Central & Eastern Europe) or national level. It will be better to
administered fund with help of some foundation (or NGO).
6.
Create projects on regional or community level, where young people can
be directly involved into concrete activities nor as a participants
either as a volunteers.
7. a) I don’t now any organizations that work for a CoP in Slovakia.
