Firstly) Is your organization youth-led or primarily youth-serving? Please explain briefly. No, my organization is not youth-led or primarily youth-serving, it's a human rights defending organization.
1. INDIVIDUAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIVITIES
a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a culture of peace (CoP) would you like to do as an individual? Educational
activities for young people in human rights, children's rights,
conflict resolution, confidence building and tolerance, also, summer
camps for the representatives of different ethnical groups, where they
will communicate with each other, make friends and share their culture
and traditions, arrange inter-cultural evenings and make a network of
young peace builders for the future cooperation in this field
(individual as well as organizations').
b) What non-financial support would you need to do these activities? Support
from the governmental and non governmental organizations (local as well
as international), these institutions and organizations can share their
experience in the field of culture of peace; they can be involved in
the monitoring and evaluation of the activities.
c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do? Educational

2. SUPPORT FROM GOVERNMENT AND THE UN
a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP? As
you know, Georgia is a multinational country where ethnically based
tensions are one of the main problems. The government of Georgia should
seek for the peaceful ways of the conflict resolution, such as:
elaboration and implementation of the programmes on the CoP related
issues, donation or attraction of funds from other donors for the
implementation of different kinds of projects in this field.
b) What CoP youth activities do you think the UN should carry out? Peace
Education Activities; Exchange programmes for the representatives of
different ethnicities within a country or at international level, - in
order to share different cultures and traditions, to build mutual
confidence and tolerance among the different nations.
OTHER QUESTIONS
3.
Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for improving youth
participation in CoP activities on any level (UN, government, civil
society)? As I have mentioned above, the government of Georgia
should elaborate and implement the programmes on the CoP related
issues, donate or attract funds from other donors for the
implementation of different kinds of projects in this field. Also, NGOs
of Georgia should elaborate more projects in the sphere of CoP and
attract funds for the implementation of the projects.
4. What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the CoP? In
order to improve/insure transparency and flow of information in
promoting the CoP some kind of monitoring system should exist in this
sphere and the network of people and organizations working in the field
of CoP should be broadened.
5. To ensure the best possible benefit of a UN Voluntary Fund for youth on the CoP, how should it be managed/administered? I
think a follow up of projects funded by a UN Voluntary Fund should be a
must. I don't have any concrete suggestions on administration of a UN
Voluntary Fund.
6. How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities be reached and motivated to get involved? More youth projects should be elaborated and implemented in this field.
7.
a) Which other organizations do you know of, that work for a CoP?
European Centre on Minority Issues, Swiss Regional Cooperation Office
for the South Caucasus, Norwegian Refugee Council, Multi-Ethnic
Resource Centre on Civic Education Development, UNITED for
Intercultural Action, European Network for Peace Services.
b) Would you be willing to contact them or may we contact them with the questionnaire? Please specify. Please, contact them with the questionnaire.
8. My response to this questionnaire is my personal opinion? __
