1. a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would you like to do as an individual? Education; Gender, Career skills, human rights, youth network establishments etc. b) What non-financial support do you need to do these activities? Exchange
youth program, program development support and youth network across the
country in 24 municipals and provinces and also global net work. c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do? Priorities
are youth network program and support, education, gender, democratic,
sustainable development, human rights, strengthening youth voice
through social and economic development participations based on local
and international strategic goals., drug prevention, human trafficking,
HIV/AIDS etc. d) What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities? Development program technical support, capacity building for youth and youth organizations.
2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP? Establish
national youth strategic development plan, promote and enable youth
voice are heard by all stakeholders, esp. Gov’t, Involve youth in SME
and industrial development, establishment and promotion of youth
employment opportunities, formulation of strategic human resources
development policy for high demand of industrial market-skills,
promotion of Gender mainstreaming amongst youth as part of sustainable
economic growth mechanism, HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness programs,
and enable support establishment of youth network across the country
and boundary. b) What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do? “Youth
as the Leaders of Individual Society Initiative”, which allow youth to
be responsible for Peace building amongst themselves and the community.
OPTIONAL QUESTIONS 3. Do you have any suggestions or
recommendations for improving youth participation in CoP activities on
any levels (UN, government, civil society)? The UN and the
international donors should create a more OPEN FINANCING CHANNEL where
youth are encouraged to work, be responsible, participative and to
achieve youth objectives and goals at local, national and international
level. That should be called: Millennium Bank where finance can are
hugely available for YOUTH. As we all knows, youth are the most
vulnerable in proposal writing and fund raising, esp. in the Less
Developing Countries (LDCs). 4. What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the CoP? Appropriate
global and local youth management structures with sound organizational
and project management are internationally recognized with good
governance, democratic and human rights spirits. . 5. To ensure the best possible benefit of a UN Voluntary Fund for youth and CoP, how should it be managed/administered? It should be managed and administered by youth, youth network and the UN Voluntary Fund for youth and the CoP. 6. How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities be reached and motivated? Global
and local Youth network and easy access to financing will be the best
ways to reach and motivate CoP activities through youth efforts. 7. a) Which other organizations do you know of, that work for a CoP? The
Alliance is firmly standing for ALL YOUTH in Cambodia and many others.
However, there are less youth organizations that fully dedicate to
Youth and worked by Youth for the Benefits of Youth. b) Would you be willing to contact them or may we contact them with the questionnaire? Please specify. Yes
I would be willing to contact All youth organizations. Youth Star is
the org. that helps youth to gain experience in work after finished
school.
