1. a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would you to do as an individual?

•Visit youth groups to understand better on their situations in terms of their economic growth and social development.
•Encourage individual youths to join youth groups by visiting schools and colleges/universities.
•Through forums encourage them to engage in policy discussions and initiate policy discussions at grassroots level.
•Produce a special newspaper for youth that will be written and distributed by themselves and special radio programs.  
•Establish youth’s sports and cultural heritage center

b) What non-financial support do you need to do these activities?
•Case studies of what worked well, where and why. A session where youth from different  parts of the world could meet and share experiences of youth initiatives that relates to CoP.
•International and national Political will
•Programming and planning skills  

c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do?

•Conduct regional dialogues on national youth policy
•Train youth on human rights and democracy
•Develop youth friendly reading materials on their role in national development and democracy
•Conduct session with policy makers on CoP and its relation/impact  to youth development  

d) What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities?

•Enabling working environment
•Support and commitment from other actors
•Materials that will facilitate implementations of programs i.e books, audio visual equipment
•Technical expertise  

2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP?

Revise the current laws so as to reflect the reality
•Loans/grants to students of higher learning institutions
•The policy making and implementation processes  

b) What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do?
•Facilitate negotiations of youth with its respective government on a certain issue
•Raise funds for CoP related activities
•Give more emphasis on the necessity of state parties to undertake CoP programs in their respective countries.  

3. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for improving youth participation in CoP activities on any levels (UN, government, civil society)?

Unfortunately I have not been well informed about the existing situation.  

4. What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the CoP?
If there isn’t review sessions which are participatory and interactive, then we should start thinking about these.    

5.To ensure the best possible return of a voluntary fund for youth and CoP, how should it be managed/administered?

I don’t have experience of how is it being managed /was managed  

6. How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities be reached and motivated?

-no response


7.a) Which other organizations do you know of, that work for a CoP?
In the region that I stay we have several but I don’t think they know about the concept of CoP and whether they are actually supporting the CoP goals.

I will be willing to contact then and I am sure they will be happy to be part of this important research
