1.a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would you to do as an individual?
Channel
all funds to breaking down prejudices especially towards gay and
lesbian youth. Starting at schools, prefects and other peers should be
trained to help their peers overcome their prejudices. A program on
tolerance and diveristy is necessary. When people think of
discirmination, they only think of race. But discrimination is
everywhere and it needs top be broken down
b) What non-financial support do you need to do these activities?
We have all the expertise, we just need funding
c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do?
My
organization would do many similar things to what I would do
personally. Though the orhanization would like to organize
excursions/camps, where prejudice and discrimination is dealth with and
discussed. WE need to organize workshops dealing with prejudice, human
rights and sex.
d) What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities?
The organization has all expertise. It has existed for many years. All need are related to funding
2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP?
Crime
and rape rates are among the highest in the world. There is too much
lawlessness. We need to focus on human rights, and respect for
ones body. Murder rates are too high in this country. Working with
young lesbian women s very improtant. They are raped to "cure" them.
People need to change their attitudes
b) What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do?
We need people to learn to repsect their bodies and themselves. Poeple need to learn to value themselves and to empathize.
