Posted: Aug. 08 2006,07:09 by rpitt from INTERNATIONAL - UNOY - Robin Pitt 1. a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a Culture of Peace (CoP) would you to do as an individual?    I already have a series of projects running which are aligned with CoP areas.    they include Youth Entrepreneurship Project (YeP); Community Reading Cell Project among others. b) What non-financial support do you need to do these activities?    I would love to have other youth in other countries come over to South Africa and share their experiences with the youth here. c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do?    We would love to expand our reach on the YeP. which is a series of workshops that are targetted at rural youth with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship among the african youth leading them towards a self sustaining future. d) What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities?    Educational Materials  Expert Advice  Information  Conferences and workshops where we could interact with other youth from other parts of the world. 2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP?  Encourage more youth participation and youth led initiatives   b) What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do?  UN should promote entreprenuership especially in Africa because it is with entrepreneurship skills that the African Child could learn best and create avenues for future success. 8.
