2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP?
Policy areas: employment, education, training, housing criminal justice and to the right of the youths and children
For the past 40-50 years, the youths have been marginalized and used especially in times of war and elections only, which has led to the deplorable condition of the average Sierra Leonean youth. It has more so drawn my attention and provoked my thought; there must be a change in how politicians think of the youth population.

The faceless must make themselves known to their leaders. The voices of the youth must be heard and their contributions must be perceived by the politicians as meaningful to society. For a painfully enduring time, the politicians of Sierra Leone have exploited the youths, using abduction, conscription ['forcible conscription' in the case of governments that used 'child-soldier'] and mass deception to gain power or stay in power which is noting the interest of the good of the population, but for political and personal interests.

b) What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do?
UN should organize a world youth culture of peace day (Peace match, sensitization and student exchange programs for tolerance and understanding)
