Agenda
for Community Development-AFCODE is a youth serving organisation
with young people involved in the program designs and implementation.
Youth are in the mainstream.
1. INDIVIDUAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL ACTIVITIES
a)
If funds were available, what youth activities related to a culture of
peace (CoP) would you like to do as an individual?
Presentation
of peace poles in nursery and primary schools in Lagos State and
organising bullying prevention projects in schools as well as formation
of peace clubs in schools
b) What non-financial support would you need to do these activities?
A mutilmedia projector as well as field work vehicle to reach out to the target schools.
c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do?
Organising bullying prevention projects in schools
d) What non-financial support would your organization need to do these activities?
We need our activities to be publicized on your website and other websites of org. in peace arena
2. SUPPORT FROM GOVERNMENT AND THE UN
a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP?
Creation of enabling environments for youth leisure and recreation in Lagos State
b) What CoP youth activities do you think the UN should carry out?
Establish the circle of interaction among young people

Through a dedicated network

Wider Dissemination of Information among networking partners

ActAlive Nigeria ( A new network of three organisation working with youth in Nigeria of which AFCODE is the Secretariat)
