Organization of an African regional youth conference on the culture of political peace and tolerance

b) What non-financial support do you need to do these activities?

Logistics and conference materials on political peace and tolerance.

c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do?

1. Political peace and cultural tolerance
2. Peace March and rally to bring the attention of governments to the sustenance of regional peace in the Sudan, Middle East and African conflict areas.
3. Organize a West African oriented peace conference/workshops for NGOs and government representatives.

d) What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities?

Provision of publications, journals, bulletins, leaflets and other logistical supports on global peace, need for global peace and the consequence of global peace

2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP?

1. Encouragement of smooth political transition of democratic governments through appropriate legislations.
2. Promotion and legislating on youth participation in governance, youth empowerment and promotion of youth exchange among regional and global youth

b) What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do?

Organize a UN global youth conference on CoP and bring the outcomes of the plenary to regional and national levels for possible awareness and implementation by political government and NGOs.

3. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for improving youth participation in CoP activities on any levels (UN, government, civil society)?

Increase funding and logistics support.

4. What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the CoP?

Promoting more concrete networking and board scrutiny and decisions.

5. To ensure the best possible return of a voluntary fund for youth and CoP, how should it be managed/administered?

Administered by a board of trustees consisting of national reps of members

6. How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities be reached and motivated?

1. Reaching out to youths and kids in local schools and colleges and bringing awareness

2. Establishing CoP clubs at the local levels.
