1. a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would you to do as an individual?
Cultural activities, sports, drama etc. to make youth interact.
b) What non-financial support do you need to do these activities?
pamflets, t-shirts, caps, balls etc.
c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do?
The
organisation initially only provided shelter for youths but now they
have set up income generating projects that will not only bring in the
much needed finance to the centre but also prepare the rehabilitated
kids professionally. The projects include carpentry, metal work,
Agriculture and tailoring. The products from the activities are then sold in the city.
So more of these kind of activities could be set up in order to help the youth be rehabilitated.
d) What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities?
2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP?
The
government should avoid to accept policies which are damaging to a
culture of peace. And also to have respect for fundamental human rights
in Mozambique.
