CULTURE OF PEACE ACTIVITIES IN MALI

Peace and  DECENTRALISATION

1. A) IF FUNDS WERE AVAILABLE, WHAT YOUTH ACTIVITIES RELATED TO A COP WOULD YOUR ORGANIZATION LIKE TO DO?

Elaboration of cartons books about Peace, documentary with interview of tradional leaders.

Youth camps with focus on Peace as seen in our tradtion and the connexion with  Today's life. In each main region of Mali in collaboration with the Minsitry of education and that of the sport.  

A competittion of Peace action in the 702 decentralised commune of Mali.

Workshops and conferences about Peace spirit both in Rural and urban areas.

B) WHAT NON-FINANCIAL SUPPORT DOES YOUR ORGANIZATION NEED TO DO THESE ACTIVITIES?

Administrative support through letter of support and recomendation to the adminstive authorities of my country.

2. A) WHAT CHANGES IN YOUTH POLICIES DO YOU THINK THE GOVERNMENT/LEADERSHIP IN YOUR COUNTRY SHOULD MAKE TO PROMOTE A COP?

To give more opportunities to youth to express themselves

B) WHAT COP YOUTH ACTIVITIES/INITIATIVES DO YOU THINK THE UN SHOULD DO?

An International Meeting about Peace Every year in different country of the world like IEARN International confernces.

3. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for improving youth participation in CoP activities on any levels (UN, government, civil society)?

As I suggested as UN activities, the organisations of Inbternational meeting each years about Peace in different countries.

4. What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the CoP?

Giving information about how much is received, how is it dispatch and to involve the concerned people to the important decisions.

5. To ensure the best possible benefit of a UN Voluntary Fund for youth and CoP, how should it be managed/administered?

6.     How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities be reached and motivated?

They can be involved through the organisation of decentralised activities in each  countries.
