1. INDIVIDUAL AND ORGANISATIONAL ACTIVITIES
(a) Funds were available what activities related to a culture of peace (COP) would you like to do as an individual.
- Sports activities i.e volleyball, netball, basketball e.t.c. - Hand work i.e. art, pottery, wood crafts e.t.c. - Traditional dances i.e. chntali, ben, chitelera
(b) What non-financial support would you need to do these activities.
- T-shirts for campaign to attract the youth - Wood for carving statues. - Simple coloring pencils or water paints if available for drawing. - Sports materials.
© If funds were available, what youth activities related to a cop would your organisation like to do
- giving or donating materials like (clothes, school books, shoes e.t.c) to the orphans and poor people. - Opening a club for handwork activities to encourage the youth to further their talents. -
Take part in governmental activities like picking of litters in the
streets and dedicating this act against violence against children. - Encouraging the girl child to further their education.
(d) What non-financial support would your organisation need to do these activities?
- Second hand clothes and shoes - Fundraising i.e. by performing traditional dances and making forms. - Wheel chairs, barrels, walking sticks for the disabled children - Sports materials e.g. ball, sports uniforms e.t.c. - Computers for communication i.e. emails.
2. SUPPORT FROM GOVERNMENT AND THE UN
(a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a cop.
- Equal opportunities of girls and boys to further their education. - Put measures to protect the rights of the children against children. - Going to school should be by compulsory - Free education both in primary and secondary schools
(b) What cop youth activities do you think the UN should carry out.
- Fight against human rights violation - Putting incharge unbribed leaders which would respect the laws. - Organising transports e.g. foreign trips and local trips for the youth to meet.

Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for improving youth
participation in cop activities on any level (UN govt, Civil society).
- Should organize more meeting for the youth to be meeting - Allowances should be fair because other orphans benefit from it. - Improve communications to reach the youths in rural and urban areas to attend these meetings
4. What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the cop.
5. To ensure the best possible benefit of a UN voluntary fund for youth on the cop, how should it be managed or administered.
- should have audit reports - should choose uncorrupt leaders - should have computers to communicate with the members of the UN when something goes. 6. How can youth not yet involved cop activities be reached and motivated to get involved.
- TV programs for the urban youths - Radio programs for both urban and rural youths - Newspaper articles - Ruffle draws or competitions - Giving out second hand clothes
7. Which other organization do you know of that work for a cop.
