1. a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would you to do as an individual? - Promotion of ICT-based training -Provision of adequate methods of documentation on child rights - Organisation of workshops - Organise advocacy projects - Organise trainings
b) What non-financial support do you need to do these activities? - Provision of computers - Provision of scanners and other office materials
c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do?
- We shall embark on mobile library service for schools and
communities. This project will focus on reaching youths in the rural
areas. It will involve the provison of books, magazines and discussions
from the materials. The mobile library shall stay in each location for
three weeks.
d) What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities?
- There is need for the development of adequate capacity for the
leaders. All executive members are volunteers. There is therefore need
for training. - Organise training workshops in ICT and capacity trainings for the executive members
2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP? Current youth policies in the Country should focus more about peace issues.
b) What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do? - The UN could help in mobilizing youths to take active role in issues of democracy. The should be active roles for youths - For a for youths should be supported. The UN could support the capacity development of online forums.

Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for improving youth
participation in CoP activities on any levels (UN, government, civil
society)? - Organisation of forums for youths - Telecenters
which can function as youth centers will provide an environment where
youths can interact and discuss various issues.
4. What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the CoP? - Setting up youth parliaments could ensure transparency in decision-making
5. To ensure the best possible return of a voluntary fund for youth and CoP, how should it be managed/administered? - The fund should be managed by youths themselves and supervised by an independent UN Commission
6. How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities be reached and motivated?
- Existing organizations should embark on strategic advocacy campaigns
in order to reach out to other youths. It should focus on peace issues.
