What non-financial support do you need to do these activities?

1)Sensitization and mobilization for an all inclusive youth perticipation in CoP activities.

If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do? (If you answer this question, please name your organization)

1) Training. |  | 2) Networking  |  | 3) Motivation |  |  |  | The name of my organization is ^^ YOUTH for DEMOCRATIC CHANGE kenya. |  | CONTACT; |  | YOUTH for DEMOCRATIC CHANGE |  | P.O.BOX 7060  |  | KISUMU 40100 |  | KENYA.

What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities?

1)Sensitization and mobilization of the youth on this matter.

What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP?

1)Pass an act of parliament that will ensure a mandatory  percentage of youth in the Executive ^^ Legislature ^^ Judiciary and all public offices. |  | 2)Youth representatives be named to the UN based on continental representations and youth special interests globally^^ and these persons MUST be youth.

What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do?

1) Training the youth on war and conflict mediation. |  | 2) Equiping the youth for a generational leadership responsibilities. |  | 3) Training the youth on Governance and democracy

Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for improving youth participation in CoP activities on any levels (UN, government, civil society)?

I strongly recommend that at the levels mentioned above^^a network of operatios be streched to the rural areas and peri-urban areas so that all youth be given achance to contribute actively in these activities instead of the all urban and major town activities we see these days.

What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the CoP?

1) The activities MUST not be westernised where policies are made in developed countries and brought to poor countries^^ we call for a global consultation before any policy is put in place. |  |  |  | 1) If apolicy or an activity is for the youth^^ let us allow the youth to own the process without the interference of the so called experts on youth affairs^^ adirection may be needed but the youth must form the majority in management as they are the stakeholders.

To ensure the best possible return of a voluntary fund for youth and CoP, how should it be managed/administered?

1) Ayouth commitee be put in place to steer and manage the funds with the support and advice of youth special interest groups. |  | 2) A global representation in the management is required with adetailed policy document that will give guidlines on how the funds should be managed. |  | 3) An independent international auditing firm to be contracted annually to evaluate the usage of the funds and report to the UN .

How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities be reached and motivated?

1) Local representatives be mandeted to mobilize the youth right from the grassroot level and inform them about these activities. |  | 2) Announcement through print and electronic media and or posters so that an international awareness be created for an all youth perticipation.
