1. a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would you to do as an individual? There
are different ways of implementing/organizing creative inter ethnic
activities that’s main objective is to bring people together and
share/discuss issues affecting them and together they can come up with
solutions. Intergenerational dialogue for example is one of the
different creative interventions that as an institution we have used
several times within the communities and have worked well.
b) What non-financial support do you need to do these activities? For me in the mean time, up to date training materials (tool kits) are very important
c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do? Education
on culture of peace by sharing with the community on the need to have
peace and how to work towards the sustainability of the same and
sustainable development because as an institution we believe that
within the communities that are actively engaged in this particular
project they are less involved in conflicts.
d) What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities? 1. training materials (Tool kits) 2. training equipments 2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP? First things first – The Kenya’s national Youth policy is still a draft in parliament. The government should pass it first b) What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do? • Sustainable development • International understanding, tolerance and solidarity • International Peace and Security
