1. a) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would you to do as an individual?

Get more education on peace studies
Train colleagues on peace education
Participate in democratic processes
Build a network of friends from diverse cultural backgrounds
Conduct more research on cultivating CoP

b) What non-financial support do you need to do these activities?
Scholarships
More sharing of CoP information to enhance knowledge learning
Build partnership with other young people  

c) If funds were available, what youth activities related to a CoP would your organization like to do?

Establish youth friendly information centre to enhance free flow of information
Advocate for policies that promote CoP
Build institutions that engender a culture of peace especially in schools.
Promote international understanding, tolerance and solidarity among African Youth.

d) What non-financial support does your organization need for CoP activities?
Get more information and education resources on CoP
Establish exchange programmes
Build functional partnerships with various actors in the sector

2. a) What changes in youth policies do you think the government/leadership in your country should make to promote a CoP?

First of all the existing draft youth policy need to be enacted
Open up learning institution to encourage democratic participation, free flow of information and dialogue.
Enact policies geared towards affirmative action in youth participation in civic processes

b) What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do?

Mobilise funds for CoP youth initiatives
Encourage international support for youth initiatives towards CoP through universal declaration


3. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for improving youth
participation in CoP activities on any levels (UN, government, civil society)?

Reform education curriculum to include peace education as a fundamental component of peaceful co-existence

4. What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in
promoting the CoP?

Provide  a policy environment that promotes transparency and flow of information.
Diversify information channels

5. To ensure the best possible return of a voluntary fund for youth and CoP, how
should it be managed/administered?

Incorporate youth at all stages to ensure ownership and the benefits that accrue from inclusion

6. How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities be reached and motivated?

Employ current technological advances to widen the audience reach
Establish sate light centers to address context specific barriers and remain relevant to the realities of those young people
