Opportunities
for youth Participation in decision making which includes building the
capacity of youth and providing logistical and financial support to

National Commission/Authority with a good number of youth
representations to coordinate and support Peace initiatives.
What CoP youth activities/initiatives do you think the UN should do?
Organizing
capacity building trainings at national^^ regional and international
level to encourage cooperation^^ tolerance for youth and youth
organisations. | | UN should make official the concept of
cultural day or night in all of its youth events. |
Do you
have any suggestions or recommendations for improving youth
participation in CoP activities on any levels (UN, government, civil
society)?
Their should be a specific body^^ collaboration and
coalitions to specifically on Peace at UN^^ government and Civil

What could be done to improve/ensure transparency and flow of information in promoting the CoP?
E-group
discussion is currently the easy form of direct tool for communication
and information sharing. | | Logistics like computer and internet
access should be provided to organisations operating in developing
countries. | | Coalitions at deferent levels ensure
accountability and strategy forum. | | | |
To ensure the best possible return of a voluntary fund for youth and CoP, how should it be managed/administered?
Their
should be an international body to coordinate all activities. Country
body should be created to coordinate country programmes. Priority must
be given to grassroots activities. That could make a great impact on
the life of people. Attention should be given to conflict prone area.
The management of the fund should be focus on the beneficiaries. |
| Youth organisations working on peace should be allowed to
present suggestions in the development of strategic plan. Consultation
should get to community level. | |
How can youth not yet involved in CoP activities be reached and motivated?
Organisations
working on Peace should be encouraged and be supported to facilitate
the creation of local level coalitions that could provide an
opportunity for organisations without access to information to benefit
and possible participate in CoP activities. | |
