1-coalition of national association which related to apply CEDAW agreement 2-The Egyptian Coalition for Child Rights 3- National associations network for supporting women rights 4-the coalition of combating female genital mutilation 5-Egyptian network for the amendment of Personal Status Law 6-Egyptian network for combating violence against women

ACTIONS: What activities have been undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and nonviolence during the ten years of the Decade? If you already made a report in 2005, your information from 2005 will be included in the 2010 report.

1-family rights through awareness of couples on family understanding and how to resolve their problems(support culture of peace) 2-family justice:through unit of resolving family disputes and ;social,legal and psychological support(formation of child club and training of children through perspective of child rights agreement) 3-women rights(concerning the amendment of personal status law)and make a special law for family with providing social,legal and psychological support for victims(affected)of the application of current law 4-combating violence against women project;through raising the social and family awreness of violence and its bad sequences to put methodology for peace and tolerance;through special hearing center and providing legal,social and psychological support 5-reproductive health for women through raising the social awareness for the importance of providing health care for family in general and women in particular,because if we become able to provide health awarness for women we can make it have only few children and make it didn't seek many children.In this case she can bring up her children with rest(in a good manner) so we could reach a good children and good generations

Yes,as we begin to implement the activities effective 2005 and we continuing activities and projects effective(2007 to 2010) . this appear clearly in the former (previous)paragraph

PLANS: What new engagements are planned by your organization in the short, medium and long term to promote a culture of peace and nonviolence?

we inserted special unit for combating violence against women as a basic unit in the foundation to work through the unit for laying(establishing) tolerance and peace values in the society , and it is achieving its objectives(goals) at the near and far(distant) level

GLOBAL MOVEMENT: How do you think the culture of peace and nonviolence could be strengthened and supported at the world level??

At the world level there is a movement to combat violence against women, so we are trying to achieve the idea at the local level (idea of combating violence against women)which we think that will serve to realize the global movement(idea)
