PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |
1. We have made progress by establishing schools and Hospitals.
2. We are near to publish two books one is on Women Rights and the other is on Education.
3.
We are in cordination with ACBAR International how to bring
practical and permanent peace within Afghanistan and Pakistan. In this
connection there are three meetings in a month in Peshawar,NWFP. And
the summary of these meetings are sent in the shape of porposals to
both the countries.

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?
|
Actually we are running at help yourself and the great obstacle in our way is economy.

ACTIONS: What actions have been
undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence during the first half of the Decade?
|
Pen
is mightier then sword and we want to eliminate the kalashnikov culture
from our regions by providing education to our youth. We have
established different youth community centres where we instruct people
to avoid crimes and violence. We are also struggling forward against
drug abuse.
We visited different schools, colleges, universities to promote the good cause of peace and prosperity.

ADVICE: What advice would you like to
give to the Secretary-General and the General Assembly to promote a
culture of peace and nonviolence during the second half of the Decade? |
We appreciate Secretary to U.N for working hard to bring peace,prosperity and solidarity to the nation's of the world.
We appeal him to bring further peace and security for the people of Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine.

PARTNERSHIPS: What partnerships and
networks does your organization participate in, thus strengthening the
global movement for a culture of peace? |
We are working independently but we are trying to work in co-ordination with different other NGOs.
1. For the Partnership setlement with different NGOs are in active progress, for example
1. SPO, Pakistan 2. Ahsas Welfare Trust(NWFP)
3. Registeration with NATPOW . 4.ACBAR, Pakistan

PLANS: What new engagements are
planned by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence in the second half of the Decade (2005-2010)? |
1. We are making Peace Community Centers to bring harmony both at National and International Level to bring peace in the world.
2. We are also working at different educational Projects because with out education peace cant be brought fully.
3.Social, Economical, Educational, Health assistance for women is also under consideration.
4.
We are also launching reserach in Human Develoment and its different
sectors through Media (TV, News Papers, Journals, books and practical
Seminars etc)
