PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |
The NEED TO INDIA is a nonprofit social services for human and health services to disadvantaged people.
This
NGO is working for social harmony,national integrity and international
human rights supporter and conduct seminars,work shops for peace since
4 years and provide food,cloths,health facilities /awareness and relief
services for needy people .

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?

We conduct community development programmes and income
generation
programmes for youth ,women and disabled people and conduct special
classes for these people on peace ,hamony and importance of
international/national integration.we conduct blood donation programme
for youth ,different communities ,creed ,caste and tribes youth are
participated in this programme.

ACTIONS: What actions have been
undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence during the first half of the Decade?
|
We
are committed for services to all human are got equal
oppurtunities and working for awareness camps ,work shops and cruasades
for youth,students and humanitarians.
Our organisation working among 75% rural people and 25% urban slum people .
We conduct international peace and harmony celebrations and conduct meeting by the experienced resource persons.
Our NGO counsellors are counsel the anti -activists and terrorists wiyh permission of government. we got good result
from last 4 years.

give to the Secretary-General and the General Assembly to promote a
culture of peace and nonviolence during the second half of the Decade? |
Civil
citizen training is nessacery for every 15 years completed children and
care the government/state for every citizen on diciplane with link up
of development activities.

networks does your organization participate in, thus strengthening the
global movement for a culture of peace? |

Non -governmental organisations are working for human &health
servies and peace and international harmony under our NGO.

PLANS: What new engagements are
planned by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence in the second half of the Decade (2005-2010)? |
We
plan to conduct seminars,work shops group discussions for youth ,women
groups ,students and religious persons on peace and iternational
harmony is need to every human.
