I
have been able to publish a free bimonthly comic strip series entitled
"The Adventures of Kialu for Peace", from September 2003, to promote a
culture of peace and non-violence. Each series of the comic strip strip focuses on a particular form of violence. Kialu,
meaning goddess of love and freedom, is the charismatic heroine of the
series, she is a brave African girl who has got two noble missions to
fullfil (to educate peace and to promote the respect of human rights)
by using three powers in a magic stick that she acquired from an old
woman. To celebrate the International Day of peace, I was able to
publish a four page comic strip to create awareness on the observance
of the day. That was for September 21st,2002. Please see examples of my
actions for a culture of peace at www.peace.ca/marcelscomicstrips.htm.
