PROGRESS: Has your organization seen progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade?

We have developed a workshop kit for creating a Culture of Peace.  The kit can be viewed at http://www.peace.ca/vowworkshopkit.htm
We have also presented a paper to the UN Security Council entitled 'The Deligitimization of War'.  This paper can also be seen at our website www.vowpeace.org

Getting people interested in the workshops

ACTIONS: What actions have been undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and nonviolence during the first half of the Decade?

Produced 'War on Trial' a dramatic presentation of a court of law where 'war' is the defendent.

Read and do something with our paper on the Deligitimization of War

Joint conferences with Canadian Peace Alliance (CPA) and Women's League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF)

PLANS: What new engagements are planned by your organization to promote a culture of peace and nonviolence in the second half of the Decade (2005-2010)?
