Movimento Paz Espírito Santo vem desde 2001, ano de sua criação,
trabalhando para o desenvolvimento de uma Cultura de Paz no estado do
Espírito Santo/Brasil.
Desenvolvendo principalmente ações de cunho
educacional, o Paz-ES trabalha no intuito de educar para uma Cultura de
Paz, fortalecendo os vinculos da responsabilidade social como caminho
para a diminuição das desigualdades sociais e consequentemente a
Construção da Paz.
Consursos de produção de Textos com o Tema
"Cultura de Paz", Campanha de Desarmamento e Desarmamento infantil,
contato com outras entidades afim de criar parcerias entre as entidades
que trabalham por um ideal em comum.
A Feira da Paz é o projeto
principal do Movimento Paz-ES, consiste em um evento de 4 dias que
acontece anualmente no ultimo fim de semana de maio, cujo domingo é o
Dia Municipal da Paz em Vitória, capital do Espírito Santo. Em um
espaço de exposição onde estão concentradas as principais entidades da
sociedade civil que atuam no estado, para expor seus projetos
desenvolvidos e captação de recursos diversos.

The
“Movimento Paz Espirito Santo” (Paz Espirito Santo Movement) has since
2001, year of its creation, been working in the development of a
culture of peace in the State of Espirito Santo, in Brazil.
Mainly
developing actions of pedagogicall character, the movement works with
the objective of educating for a culture of peace, strengthening the
ties of social accountability and responsibility as a path to the
decrease of social inequalities and, consequently, the construction of
peace.
Literary contests with the theme “Culture of Peace”,
Campaigns on Disarmament and Child Disarmament, contact with other
entities to create partnerships between the organizations that work for
a common ideal.
The Fair of Peace is the main project of the Paz
Espirito Santo Movement. It consists of a 4 day event that takes place
every year during the last weekend of May, the Sunday of which is the
Municipal Day of Peace in Victoria (capital of the Espirito Santo
State). It is an exposition site where all the main entities of
civil society that work in the State are concentrated, to display the
projects they have developed and to develop fundraising and recruiting
efforts.

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?

O
grande obstaculo enfrentado pelo Paz-ES é a Falta de recursos, tanto
financeiros como pessoal e tecnico, pois para o desenvolvimento dos
projetos são necessários diversos meios que nos são difíceis de
encontrar.
Uma falta de apoio por parte dos orgaos publicos
municipais, estaduais e federal tambem consiste em um grande obstaculo
enfrentado pelo Paz-ES.

The biggest obstacle faced
by the Espirito Paz is the lack of resources, both financial, technical
and in terms of qualified staff, since for the development of the
projects an array of different resources are necessary that are hard
for us to find. The lack of support from the public organizations, both
at the local, municipal and national level also constitute a
significant obstacle faced by Espirito Paz.
