PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |
Si
bien nuestra organización aborda la cultura de la solidaridad, venimos
comprometiéndonos en fortalecer la paz social y el respeto por la vida
de las personas.
Lamentablemente, en nuestra región como en otras
partes de la Argentina, no podemos hablar de avances, ha habido
situaciones realmente alarmantes, tal vez el más resonante ha sido el
secuestro de Fernanda Aguirre, joven de la localidad de San Benito,
quien a seis meses de este hecho,sigue lamentablemente sin aparecer.

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?

Los
mayores obstáculos son la destrucción social que ha sufrido la
Argentina, la pérdida de valores y varias generaciones que han perdido
el concepto de comunidad y de fraternidad.

ACTIONS: What actions have been
undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence during the first half of the Decade?

Desde nuestra Red ha sido impulsar una jornada por la Paz, al cumplirse un año de los hechos de violencia del año 2001.
También hemos desarrollado jornadas nacionales por jóvenes desaparecidos o secuestrados

Promover
una inversión masiva en Educación, especialmente que se disuada a los
países como la Argentina a aplicar fondos y esfuerzos en revertir la
decadencia de nuestro país en esta materia
