PROGRESS: Has your organization seen progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of action and in your constituency during the second half of the Decade?

Through training activities, we have whitnessed an increasing number of participants and people becoming more interested in our activities and in peace actions in general. We have now an audience which keeps growing and coming back each year to learn more and more about the culture of peace in its different facettes. This is exactly why we have increased our courses and activities in order to respond to people's interests.

OBSTACLES: Has your organization faced any obstacles to implementing the culture of peace and nonviolence? If so, what were they?

There is a general misunderstanding about the Culture of Peace: people tend to think we are talking about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the normalization of relations between Israel and the Arab States. While of course the concept of peace has broader aims and goals, rather social and inter-personal than political, and this what we try to achieve through our activities.

PLANS: What new engagements are planned by your organization in the short, medium and long term to promote a culture of peace and nonviolence?

GLOBAL MOVEMENT: How do you think the culture of peace and nonviolence could be strengthened and supported at the world level??
