ACTIONS: What activities have been undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and nonviolence during the ten years of the Decade? If you already made a report in 2005, your information from 2005 will be included in the 2010 report.

Undertake Training & Education initiatives in advancing contextual education as suitable instrument against ignorance, as effective tool in promoting just-peace and social justice, and as efficient change agent; in promoting dialogue and greater mutual understanding among the peoples in Mindanao; and in enhancing strategies and tools for conflict resolution, transformation, tolerance, respect for diversity, and inter-ethnic understanding.

Embark on Advocacy & Campaign activities by organizing advocate groups in educational institutions and in communities reachable by the influence of the members; develop community activism and volunteerism as component of community service; raise public awareness and participation in peace efforts; and encourage social mobilization in promoting community peace.

- Inter-ethnic Dialogue and Conflict Resolution seminars and trainings conducted by the alumni in their respective locality all-over Mindanao;
- Conduct "Operation Shoebox,"  giving out/distribution of school supplies, used clothing etc to deprived primary pupils in marginalized localities initiated by local alumni in their respective areas.

the organization has worked loosely in the past year, as the group finally organized itself, we look forward for a concerted effort and a synergy of activities that will be more efficient and effective in therms of our delivery of services.

The involvement of youth in peace and development initiative has opened a new venue of openness and solidarity among young people.
