EDUCATION FOR PEACE

PARTNERSHIPS AND NETWORKS: What partnerships and networks does your organization participate in, thus strengthening the global movement for a culture of peace?

The organization is a collection of initiatives at the grass root level by individuals at their family, community and workplace, including a number of kindergartens and schools, small and large organizations and community centers.

ACTIONS: What activities have been undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and nonviolence during the ten years of the Decade? If you already made a report in 2005, your information from 2005 will be included in the 2010 report.

- Conducting parent and teacher training workshops
- Developing virtues in children through educational programs and informal activities
- Conducting company staff training on integrity, peaceful resolution of conflicts, service, etc.
- Developing a culture of peace and virtues through community organization activities such as classes, media and advertisements, etc.
- Conducting family and marriage counseling aimed at developing a peaceful and joyful family environment
