The only problem is global financial recession. It  have affected our work so much but we setting new strategies to come out.

PLANS: What new engagements are planned by your organization in the short, medium and long term to promote a culture of peace and nonviolence?

Our new engagement is adding the development aspect of our vision. We have introduced the computer literacy programme at the Aggrey Road School in collaboration with Megatech our NGO partner in this area. Initial teething problems have being overcome and one can say that some degree of success has been chalked. A complete lab had been established, computer literacy training has now become part of school curriculum and every student is required to patronize the programme. In all, there are about forty computers, with two teachers.
As JHS programme appears to be well established, we now want to focus on early childhood development i.e. those children b/n the ages of 2 and 4. We hold the view that children in their formative years will more receptive to learning and since computer literacy has come to stay it is appropriate that we reach out to them very early so that computer literacy and communication become part of their every day life.

GLOBAL MOVEMENT: How do you think the culture of peace and nonviolence could be strengthened and supported at the world level??
