We are glad to confirm that we have conqured discrimination against women in some areas, achieved greater women participation in democratic activities and seen increase of women in elective positions. violence against women and girls has been minimised to some extent as girls rights are now being respected.

OBSTACLES: Has your organization faced any obstacles to implementing the culture of peace and nonviolence? If so, what were they?

Obstacle areas include getting community leaders to understand and believe in the right and avoid cultral deprivities, oppression of women in some given ethnic-cultural practices especially on widow's right to husband's property. Fund to enhance campaign strategy, lobby activities and sponsoring women participation in politics.

PLANS: What new engagements are planned by your organization in the short, medium and long term to promote a culture of peace and nonviolence?

Train more women, empower them with viable trade through SME loans, build vocational institutions, develop ICT centres to expose women to global community and civilisation

GLOBAL MOVEMENT: How do you think the culture of peace and nonviolence could be strengthened and supported at the world level??

If women's rights, indigenous peoples rights are duly recognised, there will be a level playing ground for peace talk, peace building and conflict resolutions to be acheived easily. Therefore there is need to develop school curriculum that takes peace building as an elementary subject and career discipline.
