The members of this department strive to provide a high level of professional service in not only responding to calls for service from citizens, but also working with and reaching out to members of the community. The Northfield Police Department can be found working in the schools, sponsoring National Night Out, staffing educational booths for community groups, providing drug education classes, ensuring the City of Northfield’s annual Defeat of Jesse James Days remains a family friendly, nation-wide attraction and much more.
We partner with many other community programs that promote peace. Those include, but are not limited to the Mayor’s Youth Council, Mayor’s Youth Task Force, and Northfield HCI. Also the HOPE Center in Faribault.
