No;
dejar la gente sin agua es violencia. Nuestras comunidades reciben agua
irregularmente lo cual nos indica que la situación continúa inestable.

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?

Nuestro
principal obstáculo es el gobierno, representado por las agencias
gubernamentales. Además, tenemos como obstáculos las empresas privadas
y desarrollistas.

Nos
enfocamos en la protección del agua y el cuido del ambiente y
consideramos que la violencia ambiental es el problema concreto.
Hemos
realizado conferencias y orientaciones comunitarias, conferencias de
prensa, reuniones con agencias gubernamentales, manifestaciones.

Tenemos
proyectadas orientaciones a grupos comunales para defender sus
derechos, en especial a tener aguas 25 horas al día. También
participaremos en vistas públicas para oponernos a cualquier proyecto
desarrollista que amenaze nuestros abastos de agua.
