PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |
SINCE
OUR ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED OCTOBER 2002, WE HAVE SEEN LITTLE PROGRESS
TOWARD A CULTURE OF PEACE EDUCATION AND NONVIOLENCE.
IN THE
BEGINING WE HAVE BEEN PLANNED TO LUNCH PEACE EDUCATION CAMPAIGN THROUGH
MEDIA AND THROUGH SCHOOLS BY ADDING THE CURICULUM.
TWO FM RADION IN MOGADISHU HAVE STARTED TO PRODUCE PEACE EDUCATION 2 HOURS A WEEK.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT NETWOK WITH THE HELP OF SOMALI CIVIL SOCIETY WAS
ORGANIZED TWO TIMES THE CELEBERATION OF INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY. IN
ADDITION TO THAT, SOYDEN ALSO HAS BEEN CELEBERATE THE SECOND GLOBAL
YOUTH SERVICE DAY WITH PEACE RALLY.
