PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |
* People have become interested in the projects and activities developed by our Association.
*
Governmental institutions and authorities have responded positively
towards the issues discussed and we managed to reach a formula for
joint cooperation.
The reason for this progress is the actual need of the community for the programmes offered.
Measures of success:
* Achievement of the biggest possible portion of the goals and securing their sustainability.
* Conducting polls.
* Supporting and interacting with the beneficiaries as well as all social strata

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?

* Lack of financial resources.
* Lack of environmental awareness in the community.
* Environment is always comes at the end of the priority list of both society and officials

The deteriorating security conditions, the presence of the occupation
troops as well as constant damaging of the environment and exhausting
its resources

ACTIONS: What actions have been
undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence during the first half of the Decade?

* Organizing several symposiums, training courses and festivals
* Conducting a diversity of studies and research.
* Producing various objective bulletins and stickers.
* Attracting specialists and those who are interested in our activities
