Yes
our organisation has been at the fore front culture of peace and
nonviolence in our domain of action and in our constituency during the
first half of the Decade. Our key indicators are children, youths, culture and free education.

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?
|
The
main obstacles that prevented our progress is funding. It is still
limited and we have quite a number of programs and projects we still
have in plan to execute.

ACTIONS: What actions have been
undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence during the first half of the Decade?

Annually
Children Rights Agenda celebrate the Day of the African Child June 16.
we use this opportunity to talk to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence.
Pen Pal Exchange Letters: More than 40 members of
Children Rights Agenda have participated in Global Letter exchange
program of Respect Nigeria since the begining of this Year. These have
been collected and sent regularly to Pen Pal friends from Canada.
Moreover, we received the second replies...
On the 25th of
November 2004, Members of Children Rights Agenda participated in this
Year World Water Monitoring day (WWMD). Francis Abayomi conducted the
first t water test and afterwards members conducted about nine
different water test from diffrent sources in their various
communities....
