* Granting awards, developing the work system and enhancing scientific research in Jordanian universities
* Promotion of knowledge through the library and information systems, and by providing support to Palestinian libraries.
* Developing strong relations with Arab intellectual and cultural institutions
* Launching the Abdel Hameed Shoman website (www.shoman.org)
