PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |
We
are marching ahead of our aims and goals for the just society in
achieving equality in all measures of life for the rural people.
We
are helping monitoring and guiding the rural mass through the Self Help
Groups - Women, Youth and the Aged for their sustainable economic
income generation activities and for their social acceptances - aiming
for the culture of peace and non violance.
Skill, vocational, self
employment and entreprenurship activities are in progress toward this
achievements through our various training programs - Training Center.
To
preserve and establish our mother earth from pollutions - we are
marching towards major achievements through various government agencies
like Forestry, Pollution control Board, PCRA to conserve our nature
through awarenesses to our rural people, tree plantations, fire
brigades etc. to achieve the culture of peace.
We work for the Human Rights for the rural people for their self respect and dignity

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?
|
We would like to mention only one thing as a major obstacle and that too is not said to be the obstacle -
The
innocent and uncivilized and uneducated rural people - we have educate
in many ways to achieve the goal - IEC, awareness and mass medias.

ACTIONS: What actions have been
undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence during the first half of the Decade?
|
CULTURE OF PEACE AND NON VIOLANCE:
Established through the self sustainablity of the people and awareness towards the peace.
we
have acheived in a remarkable way throgh our hard work in the
establishment of Self Help Groups - for Women, Youth and the Aged -
getting trained in various aspects for their self sustainability -
economic and social.
and are educated and given awarenss and
training towards the peace - neighberhood and nature and establishing
the human rights through various awareness and training programs
we
are planning to celeberate the International Day of Peace from this
2005 year in a big and effective way among the rural people in our
working area and the neighboring thorugh a planned cooperation with our
NGOs Network.

give to the Secretary-General and the General Assembly to promote a
culture of peace and nonviolence during the second half of the Decade? |
Culture
of Peace will be achieved only when and where the sustainability comes
to the people - economic and social and human rights.
we have to
achevie this sustainability through various activities through non
governmnetal, voluntary and the government agencies.
the non
violance comes automaticaly to the mentality of the people when and
where they achieve their saturations in their economic and social
acceptances.

PARTNERSHIPS: What partnerships and
networks does your organization participate in, thus strengthening the
global movement for a culture of peace? |
We
are working for the welface of the rural people through many networks
among NGOs and detailed coordination with Government and government
agencies - localy and internatinal level.
we are open and
free in this regard to expand and share our ideas and views to
coordinate to achieve the culture of peace to receive and give ideas
and activities anywhere in the Universe.

PLANS: What new engagements are
planned by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence in the second half of the Decade (2005-2010)? |
we
would like to expand our activities to a larger scale through our
network NGO partners for peace through the self sustainability of the
rural people for non violance.
Education, self employment and economic sustainability with social acceptance will proove the peace and non violance.
we
are working for this goal and wish join with any organizaiton in any
part of the universe to establish peace and the preservation of our
mother earth.
