PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |
This
is difficult to say. The work of Saphira is meditation, healing and
teaching - on the base of ageless wisdom and buddhism. I add my view to
the report, because I see this kind of work also as a way to peace, by
helping and guiding people on their own way to recognize their inner
qualities, which are always qualities of the soul, the love aspect in
men. Group consiousness ist a main view of the work, and this is a base
of peace - seeing all human beings as one family. We did a lot of
group experiences - what was not easy and the result made aware, how
difficult it still is for us, to be in love with each other, not by
speaking about it, but by living it in concrete and difficult
situations.

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?
|
The
unability of us, to be clear, that love is the main quality to heal
every situation - to be in some way afraid of this energy, to open
ourself, for what we would become by doing it.

undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence during the first half of the Decade?
|
no specific actions Group
effort in meditation, i.e. to work with light against glamour in the
world. Group work and lectures, to learn people to have a new
conciousness on money, relationship and so on.

ADVICE: What advice would you like to
give to the Secretary-General and the General Assembly to promote a
culture of peace and nonviolence during the second half of the Decade? |
to continue the work - doesn't matter what happens. The inner work and view is a mightfull instrument to reach every goal. Synthesis and Understanding is the base of all work.
