New specialities were developed in technical high schools according to
job market needs (such as carpentry, technical and administrative
assistance) * Development of a medical education programme to encompass the Association's surrounding environment * Active participation in conferences and seminars on civil work, sustainable development and protection of school dropouts.
Measures of success: * Achievement of the general goal * High positive response to the activities * Application of monitoring standards according to the type of activity conducted.

Major obstacles encountered :
* Low cultural level of target beneficiaries of the different activities * Traditional attitudes and practices sometimes hinder development * Red-tape systems in governmental institutions

Education (kindergarten; junior, preparatory and secondary schools; as
well as technical education: agricultural, industrial and commercial) * Health (health care, therapy, health education) * Applied scientific research (SEKEM Academy) * Social care and environmental development

* Providing social, educational and health care to 70 school dropouts every year. * Participation in conferences and seminars. * Developing training programmes for activists involved in civil work.
