PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |
The
answer to this question is a positive yes. We measure progress
through increasing public and private involvement in developing their
human resources as promoters of a peace and nonviolence culture.
The indicator: Secretaria Municipal de Educação - the city agency
for basic education - has granted scholarships to 30 key people who had
already attended a 2 years UNIPAZ holistic training course. This
people have the responsibility of wide spreading peace principles
within public school network. Petrobras - probably the largest
Brazilian corporation - has also granted scholarship on the same
training course to one of his human resources manager.
