PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |

Fazem
18 anos consecutivos que criamos uma maneira prática de fazer uma
cultura da Paz e nâo violência, através de convites a Grupos
Folclóricos de Países de culturas e costumes diferentes, alguns em
conflito, para realizar um encontro anual em nosso país.
Onde estes grupos, através de suas danças e música se esquecem de suas diferenças e praticam a Paz.
Isto
tem se passado nestes 18 anos de festivais, muitos grupos em guerra,
como exemplo a presença da Yugoslávia e a Croácia, no ano de 1995 e
tudo terminando em amizade .
O proximo passo foi criar mais
festivais internacionais em outras cidades do nosso país , enviar
grupos brasileiros a outros festivais mundiais e há mais de tres anos
estamos fazendo também Festivais de Folclore no Chile e no México, com
a participação dos nossos voluntários.
O Progresso alcançado se deu nos seguintes Resultados:
1. intercâmbios Culturais – com mais de 100 países
2. Banco de Dados que serve de pesquisa de Folclore para alunos e professores da Rede de Ensino ;
3. Criação de Festivais Internacionais de Folclore pelo Brasil, hoje mais de 10 Festivais
4. Conscientização das Escolas , nestes 18 anos de valorizar o folclore na região onde se realiza;
5. Estágio para estudantes de Escolas e Universidades de Turismo;
6. Capacitação Profissional para Jovens Voluntários
7. Intercâmbios Culturais entre Jovens de vários países;
8. Exposições de Artesanato com Geração de Renda para os Artesãos;
9. Equipe Brasileira de Voluntários trabalhando no Exterior
10. Oficinas Culturais com capacitação para Pessoas de Baixa Renda;
11. Criação de um Circuito de Festivais nas Américas
12. Convênios e parcerias com Empresas Aéreas
13. Maior divulgação do Folclore Brasileiro, com a ida de Grupos Brasileiros ao Exterior em maior número
14. Reconhecimento e valorização no exterior do trabalho da ONG em prol do folclore
15. arcerias no exterior com organizadores de festivais que patrocinaram a ida de grupos do Brasil
16.
Viabilização através do Ministério de Cultura de patrocínio de
passagens para grupos brasileiros irem a Festivais Internacionais em
países como Rússia, República Tcheca, Itália e França.
17. Preservação e resgate de inúmeros grupos folclóricos brasileiros oportunizando suas atuações.

ENGLISH VERSION
Since
18 consecutive years we create a practice way of doing a culture of
Peace and non violence, through invitations to Folkloric Groups of
different countries and manners, some of them in conflict, to realize
an annual meeting at our country.
Where these groups, through its dances and music forget their differences and practice Peace.
It
has been happening in these 18 years of festivals, many groups in war,
as an example the presence of the Yugoslavian and Croatia, at the year
of 1995, has everything been finished in harmony.
The next step was
to create more international festivals in other cities of our
countries, to send Brazilian groups to other mundial festivals and
since more than 3 years we are also doing Folkloric Festivals at Chile
and Mexico, with the participation of our volunteers.
The Progress reached has been given in the following Results:
1. Cultural Interchanges – with more than 100 countries
2. Data Banks which serves for folkloric researches to students and teachers from the Teaching Net
3. The creation of International Folkloric Festivals through Brazil, totalizing today more than 10 festivals
4. The information to the schools about these 18 years of valorization of the folklore of the region where it is realized
5. Stage for students from schools and Universities of Tourism
6. Professional capacitation for younger volunteers
7. Cultural interchanges between young people from many countries
8. Handicraft Expositions which given incoming for the handicraftsmen
9. Volunteers Brazilian equipment working at the exterior
10. Cultural Workshops with capacitation or people with low income
11. Creation of a Festival’s Circuit in the Americas
12. Convenes and partnerships with air companies
13. A major divulgation of the Brazilian Folklore, with the going of Brazilian Groups to the exterior in a major number
14. Recognizing and valorization at the exterior of the NGO’s work in favor to the folklore
15. Partnerships in the exterior with festivals organizers which supported the going of Brazilian groups
16.
Viabilization through the Cultural Ministery of passaport supporting to
Brazilian groups to go to International Festivals in countries such as
Russia, Czech Republic, Italy and France;
17. Preservation and rescue of uncountable Brazilian Folkloric groups given opportunity of exploration of its performances;

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?
|
Tivemos
alguns obstáculos que dificultaram todo este processo e alguns
dos maiores , foram a falta de visão das Prefeituras e do
Servidor Público, bem como de alguns empresários, que achavam o Projeto
muito visionário e impossível de ser realizado e a questão da
alimentação e da hospedagem , para aproximadamente 500 a 800
participantes, durante os 12 dias de realização do evento
Hoje a maior dificuldade ainda é este contato com o poder público e empresários, mas que tem melhorado muito.

We
had some obstacles which made difficult its process and some of the
major, were the absent of Prefecture and Public Server vision, as well,
of some managers, whom thought the Project was very much visionary and
impossible to e realized and the question of the food and hospitality,
for around 500 to 800 participants, during the 12 days of realization
of this event.
Today the major difficulty is still the contact with the public power and managers ut which has been better much more.

ACTIONS: What actions have been
undertaken by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence during the first half of the Decade?
|
As
ações foram pautadas na criação efetiva de mais Festivais
Internacionais de Folclore, uma maneira de se colocar culturas ,
costumes e tradições diferentes em contato, fazendo com que houvesse
uma maior tolerãncia frente as diferenças e trazendo isso para as
escolas, para que alunos e professores se conscientizassem mais da
importância do resgate da nosa cultura e da nossa tradição.
Projeto Escola:
Este
é um dos pontos que o festival mais cuida. Entendendo serem as crianças
o alvo mais importante no aspecto cultural e de formação do público "de
amanhã", o "Projeto Escola" é a atividade mais enriquecedora, tem por
objetivo divulgar o folclore entre os estudantes da rede municipal,
estadual e particular. As escolas são convidadas a participarem do
evento na área de espetáculos.
Aproximadamente são atendidas cerca
de 40 a 82 escolas em todo o Circuito, chegando-se a atingir
aproximadamente mais de 50.000 alunos.
Culto Ecumênico Plantio da Árvore da Paz
Culto
realizado ao ar livre, sem distinção de religião ou credo, com a
participação dos grupos, onde haverá a benção dos instrumentos
musicais.
Em seguida os grupos cantam uma música religiosa do seu país ou dançam.
Em
sequência é realizado o plantio da Árvore da Paz, onde uma pequena
muda, trazida por um dos países participantes, é plantada com
terra trazida pelos grupos - de seus países.
Desfile Etnográfico
Com
a participação de todos os grupos folclóricos presentes ao evento é
realizado um desfile pelas avenidas principais, com paradas em certos
pontos onde será feita uma pequena demonstração do que o grupo irá
apresentar durante o período do evento. Tem a duração de
aproximadamente 3 horas em uma distância de +/- 3 Km.
Dança na Rua
Esta programação tem por objetivo chamar a atenção da população para o evento.
São atuações isoladas em locais pré-determinados da área central do comércio e de forma muito rápida.
Dança no Bairro
Em razão das grandes distâncias existentes, a "Dança nos Bairros" nada
mais é do que uma oportunidade que o festival oferece para a população
mais distante.
Normalmente essas atuações são "mambembe".
Esse projeto vem sendo apresentado com muito sucesso todos os anos ,
reunindo um numeroso público.
Troca de Presentes Visitas Oficiais
É
realizada Visita Oficial aos Prefeitos Municipais (executivo) e
aos Presidentes das Câmaras Municipais das cidades participantes
(legislativo). Nesta visita se faz presente os diretores e um
casal com trajes típicos de todos os grupos participantes que trocam
presentes com as autoridades, marcando assim a sua presença nos
municípios.
Igual procedimento se dá entre a organização do evento e os diretores dos grupos participantes e em seguida entre os grupos
Noite das Nações
Sendo
um dos objetivos primeiro do evento a maior integração entre os
mais diversos povos participantes, é parte (reservado) da programação o
que definimos como "Noite das Nações.
Esta parte ocorre todas as
noites após programação oficial, onde os grupos realizam diversas
atividades típicas de sua cultura, demonstrando e envolvendo a
participação de todos, tais como:Apresentações ,Brincadeiras
,Jogos,Comidas e Bebidas Típicas, ...,tudo no ambiente do alojamento e
reservado somente aos participantes e organização, portanto não sendo
esta pública.
Encerramento Oficial
O último dia do
Festival é marcado pela solenidade de Encerramento , que normalmente
conta com a apresentação de todos os grupos, a palavra de agradecimento
dos organizadores e autoridades municipais que recepcionaram os grupos.
É realizada uma coreografia especial de encerramento com a participação de todos os grupos.
Esta cerimônia marca a despedida dos grupos que aqui conviveram dias de paz, harmonia, comunhão e festa.
Mostra de Artesanato e Comidas Típicas
Junto
com toda a magia do festival acontece a Mostra de Artesanato e Comidas
Típicas, onde seu maior objetivo é trazer, junto com o festival a
cultura e os costumes de outros países, proporcionando um dos mais
belos intercâmbios culturais e turísticos para todo o público
presente.
III ENCONTRO INTERNACIONAL DE JORNALISTAS :
São
convidados jornalistas de alguns países, para discutir o papel da
Imprensa no resgate e preservação da Arte Popular.]Neste Encontro são
apresentados trabalhos dos países convidados.
I FORUM MUNDIAL DA REDE DE JOVENS VOLUNTÁRIOS PELA CULTURA DA PAZ:
Neste
ano pela primeira vez faremos um fórum com apresentação de trabalhos
dos jovens que fazem parte da Rede. Este projeto foi criado com a
intenção de utilizar o poder da Internet como ferramenta na preservação
dos costumes e tradições.
Os jovens cada qual em seu país escolhe um
tema e trabalha com o objetivo de recolher dados da sua cultura e da
sua tradição, enviar estes dados depois de comprovados por uma equipe
de estudiosos e disponibilizar na Internet, em nosso sirte
www.abrasoffa.org.br informações detalhadas acerca das tradições
daquele país.Exs.:
México - resgata as suas comidas típicas, onde
colocará na Internet a história rica da culinária Mexicana, a
receita e a foto;
Paraguai - fazendo o resgate da língua Garani, falada naquele país, recolhendo músicas e história do seu país, naquele idioma;
Brasil - Danças e lendas brasileiras de Norte ao Sul do país;
Peru - resgate do artesanato peruano com fotos e história.

ENCONTRO DO COMITÊ EXECUTIVO DO CONTINENTE ANERICANO-IOV - a
entidade que representamos no Brasil o IOV realiza anualmente um
Encontro onde são discutidas as metas e ações do próximo ano e neste
ano em agôsto, estaremos reunidos com alguns membros das Américas, para
tratar de realizar no ano de 2006 o I CONGRESSO MUNDIAL DA PAZ .

The
actions were guide-lined in the effective creation of more
International Folkloric Festivals, a way to put cultures, costumes and
different traditions in contact, doing to have more tolerance with the
differences and bringing it to the schools, for the students and
teachers get more conscience of the importance of the rescue of our
culture and tradition.
School Project:
This is the point more
cared by the festival. I think the children be the point most important
at the cultural aspect and of the “tomorrow” public formation, the
School Project, is the most enriching, and has as an aim to divulgate
the folklore between the students of the municipal, statual and
particular net. Schools are invited to participate of the event in the
spectacle’s area.
Are attended around 40 to 82 schools in all the Circuit getting to reach around 50000 students.
Ecumenical cultivation of the Peace Tree
Cultivation
realized at the free air, without distinction of religion or faith,
with the participation of the groups, where it will be the less to the
musician instruments. In the following, the groups sing a religion song
of its country and dance.
In the following it is realized the
plantation of the Peace Tree, where a small plant, brought for one of
the participant countries and it’s planted with land brought by the
groups – of its countries.
Ethnographic parade:
With the
participation of all the folkloric groups present at the event it is
realized a parade at the main avenues, with a stopping in determinate
points where it will be done a small demonstration of what the group
will present during the period of the event. It has the duration of
around 3 hours at a distance of more or less 2 statute miles (3Km).
Dance on the suburbs:
In
due to the great distances existents, the “Dance on the Suburbs” is
nothing else than an opportunity which the festival offers to the most
distant populations. In general, these attractions are “mambembe”. This
project has been presented with great success every year, joining a
great public.
Change of gifts/ Official Visits:
It is
realized the Official Visit to the Municipal Mayors (executive) and to
the Municipal Cameras’ President of the participant cities
(legislative). In this visit are present the directors and a couple
with typical costumes of all the groups participants whom change gifts
with the authorities, marking this way, their presence at the
municipalities. The same procedure is taken between the organization of
the event and the directors of the groups participants and in following
between the groups.
Night of the nations:
Being one of the
first objectives of the event, the major integration between the most
diverse people participant, it is a part (reserved) of the programation
which we define as “Night of the nations”.
This part happens every
night after the official programation, when the groups realize diverse
activities from its culture, demonstrating and including the
participation of everybody, such as: presentations, plays, games, foods
and typical drinks, …everything in an environment of the lodgment and
reserved only for the participants and organizers, so being this public.
Official Enclosing:
The
last day of the Festival is marked by the solemnity of the Enclosing,
which normally counts to the presentation of the groups the thanks of
the organizers and the municipal authorities which received the groups.
It is realized an special choreography of enclosing with the participation of all the groups.
This ceremony marks the farewell of the groups which shared days of peace, harmony, communion and party.
Handicraft and Typical Food Exposition:
Together
with all the magic of the festival happens the Handicraft and Typical
Food Exposition, where its major objective is to bring, together with
the festival, the culture and costumes of other countries,
proportionating one of the most beautiful cultural and touristy
interchanges for all the present public.
III Journalists International Meeting:
Are
invited journalists from some countries, to discuss the part of the
Press in the rescue and preservation of the Popular Art. In this
meeting are presented works of the invited countries.
I Mundial Forum of the Volunteer Young for the Peace Culture:
In
this year, for the first time, we will present a forum with the
participation of the young’s works, whom made part of the Net. This
project was created with the intention of using the power of the
Internet as an instrument in the preservation of the costumes and
traditions.
The youngs, each one in your country choose a subject
and work with the aim of join results of your culture and tradition,
send this data after confirmed by an equipment of students and put it
on the Internet, in our site www.abrasoffa.org.br for further
information about the tradition of that country. E.G.:
Mexico – rescue its typical foods and put in the Internet the rich history of the Mexican food, the recipe and the photograph;
Paraguay
– doing the rescue of the of the Guarani language, spoken at that
country, collecting songs and history of your country, on that idiom;
Brazil – Dances and Brazilian legends from the North to South of the country;
Peru – rescue of the Peruvian handicraft with the photographs and history.
V Meeting of the Executive Committee from the American Continent – IOV:
The
entity which we represent in Brazil, the IOV, realize annually a
Meeting where are discussed the goals and actions of the next year and
this year in August, we will be joined together with some members of
the Americas, to treat to realize in the year of 2006 the I Mundial
Congress of Peace.

give to the Secretary-General and the General Assembly to promote a
culture of peace and nonviolence during the second half of the Decade? |
Que
houvesse uma preocupação com o resgate e os valores da identidade
cultural de cada povo, uma ação de conscientização, mas voltada aos
governantes , para que medidas junto às escolas, fôssem tomadas.
criação
de grupos de dança folclórica, exposições de artesanato, culinária,
música: São ações que minimizam a violência, criando uma criança
repeitando a sua tradição e a sua cultura, tirando-a da rua, já que
estaria dançando, cantando e tocando.
A Arte é uma forma da pessoa
minimizar a violência e criando uma conscientização da família para
valores culturais, que estão sendo deixados totalmente de lado, pelos
nossos governan, preocupados com a violência e as crises sociais da
sociedade.
Mas não podem esquecer que a Arte e a cultura alimentam a
alma, isto também é muito importante, as pessoas tem que estar mais
sensibilizadas a ajudar e se desde pequenos tratarem com sensibilidade
as questões colocadas em sua vida.

That have a
preoccupation with the rescue and the values of cultural identity of
each people, an action of conscience, but turned to the governor, for
measures, together with the schools, be taken.
The creation of
Folkloric Dance Groups, Handicrafts Expositions, cooking, music: Are
actions which minimize violence creating a child whom will respect your
tradition and culture, taking him/her off the streets, since he/she
would be dancing, singing and playing.
The Art is a way of the
person to minimize violence, creating the conscience for the family to
call the attention to cultural values, which are being forget by our
governors, worried with the violence and social crises of the society.
But
we cannot forget that Art and culture feed the soul, and this is also
very important, because people have to be more sensible to help and,
since they are young, they have to treat with sensibility the questions
which were put in their lives.

Estamos
vinculados a Rede de Jovens Voluntários pela Cultura da Paz, que
utiliza a Internet como ferramenta, para a preservação da arte popular;
Representamos
o IOV - Organização internacional de Arte Popular, com sede na Austria
e que mantêm relações Operacionais com a UNESCO;
Somos membro
correspondente do CIOFF - Conselho Internacional de Organizadores de
Festivais de Folclore, com sede na França e que mantêm relações
Operacionais com a UNESCO;
Somos membros do CID - Conselho Internacional de Dança, com sede na França e que mantêm Relações Operacionais com a UNESCO;
Fazemos parte da Rede do terceiro Setor, que trata das questões sociais do Brasil, através da Internet;
fazemos parte da Rede Fórum Social, que trata das questões sociais do Brail, através da Internet.

planned by your organization to promote a culture of peace and
nonviolence in the second half of the Decade (2005-2010)? |
Para 2006 , estamos planejando:
• O I CONGRESSO MUNDIAL DA PAZ NAS AMÉRICAS ;
• O IV ENCONTRO INTERNACIONAL DE JORNALISTAS ;
• O II FÓRUM MUNDIAL DA REDE DE JOVENS VOLUNTÁRIOS PELA CULTURA DA PAZ;
• O III FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE FOLCLORE DA CIDADE DO MÉXICO
•
O 20º FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE FOLCLORE DO BRASIL, com um Circuito de
Festivais no mes de agôsto de 2006 por mais de 05 Estados e mais de
20 cidades brasileiras;
• Oficinas Culturais nas Escolas Conveniadas;
• Exposição Itinerante com o Museu da Entidade Abrasoffa e os artesãos da região da baixada Santista;
•
Incentivar mais a Criação de Festivais de Folclore Nacionais e
Internacionais, com projetos Integrados: Projeto escola, de Bairros e
Ruas, Creches, Oficinas Culturais, desfiles, Culto ecumênico e Desfiles
de Rua;
• Capacitação do Corpo Vouluntário da Entidade, com aulas de idiomas e diversa Oficinas Culturais;
• Expansão da rede de Jovens Voluntários pela Cultura da paz à outros países;

Transferência da Sede da Entidade para uma lugar Maior, onde se possa
colocar as peças do Museu de Arte Popular, à visitação popular , com
oficinas de artesanato com isso possibilitando uma capacitação a jovens
da periferia;

For 2006, we are planning:
• The I Mundial Peace Congress in the Americas;
• The IV International Meeting of Journalists;
• The II Mundial Forum of Young Volunteers Net for the Peace Culture;
• The III International Folkloric Festival of the Mexico City;
•
The 20th International Folkloric Festival of Brazil, with a Festivals
Circuit in August of 2006 by more than 05 states and more than 20
Brazilian cities;
• Cultural workshops in the Convened schools;
• Itinerant exposition with the Museum of the entity ABrasOFFA and the handicraftsmen of the Baixada Santista region;
•
Incentive more the Creation of National and International Folkloric
Festivals, with integrate projects: School, suburbs, crèches and
streets projects, cultural workshops, parades, ecumenical cults, and
Parades on the streets;
• Capacitation of the Volunteer body of the entity, such as idiom classes and diverse cultural workshops;
• Expansion of the young volunteers’ net for the Peace Culture to other countries;
•
Transference of the entity seat to a largest place, where it could be
possible to put the pieces of the popular Art Museum, to the popular
visitation, with handicrafts workshops, and with it, making possible
the capacitation of the suurb young.

Highest priority action domain of a culture of peace
|
Como
primeira Prioridade : seria para nós a EDUCAÇÃO PARA UMA CULTURA
DA PAZ - onde teriam que ser desenvolvidas ações junto a escola, para
que desde cedo a criança tenha esta consciência, isso ajudaria e muito.
------
As
a first prioritary: it would be for us an Education for the Culture of
Peace – where it should e developed actions together with the school,
with the intention that the child, as soon as possible, has the
conscience, which would help very much.

Second priority action domain of a culture of peace
|
Como
segunda prioridade : Compreensão, Tolerância e Solidariedade
- desenvolvendo estas questões, tudo ficaria mais fácil, menos
pessoas nervosas intolerantes , pessoas que se doariam a causas
necessárias a comunidade, enfim as pessoas mais humanas, outras
questões seriam resolvidas.

As a second priority:
Comprehension, tolerance and solidarity – developing these questions,
everything would be easier, less people nervous, intolerants and people
would give theirselves to causes to help the community, so, people
would become more human, and other questions could e solved.

Nossa
prioridade é fortalecer os países das Américas, na questão da
identidade cultural de cada um, fortalecer os Intercâmbios entre os
mesmos, criar uma relação de cooperação , divulgar as ações dos países
da Américas, quanto a sua riqueza cultural e tratar de fortalecer os
Festivais de Folclore existentes naqueles países e criar cada vez mais
e mais Festivais de Folclore, onde estes grupos tenham motivação para
apresentar o seu trabalho com a finalidade de divulgar a sua cultura
popular , resgatando os valores, motivando os seus jovens a participar.
Que
através da dança e da música os povos sejam mais tolerantes, pois esta
além de ser uma linguagem Universal, é uma expressão verdadeira, pois o
corpo e a alma não mentem jamais.

Our priority is
to fortify the countries of the Americas, in relation to the cultural
identity of each one, to fortify the Interchanges between them,
creating a relation of cooperation, to divulgate the actions of the
countries of the Americas, as for its cultural treasure and treat to
fortify the Folkloric Festivals existents in that countries and to
create each time more and more Folkloric Festivals, where these groups
have the motivation to present its work with the aim to divulgate its
popular culture, rescuing their values, motivating the young to
participate.
That through dance and music people be more tolerant,
because it is very far from being an Universal language, it is a truly
expression, because the body and the soul does not lie anyway.
