PROGRESS: Has your organization seen
progress toward a culture of peace and nonviolence in your domain of
action and in your constituency during the first half of the Decade? |
yes
we have noticed progress; our work is in the area of health and
psychsocial programs and peace building; we have developed a health and
peace-buidling filter that we are currently trialling; it's objective
is to assist in assuring that these programs are developed and

OBSTACLES: What are the most important obstacles that have prevented progress?

large national govt priorities conflicting with local peace building capacities; lack of funding for significant and long term endeavors in peace building

encourage
increased action and support for peace buidling initiatives, in
particular from large nations, but without the the ties to their own
national agendas which confound the situations; increased weight for
independent third party assessments and management.

networks does your organization participate in, thus strengthening the
global movement for a culture of peace? |

planned by your organization to promote a culture of peace and

continued work on the health and peace intersection; increased innovative projects involving young people
